Our ethos is quite simple. We are not followers of any organised religious beliefs yet we acknowledge some core values that have their roots with our ancestors.
The Hávamál, a ‘poem’ that offers advice for living as well as how to conduct yourself is both practical and philosophical in content.
For example, we acknowledge the importance of courage to face life's challenges, whether large or small and to use our strengths to support others weaknesses. We believe in industriousness and the necessity to work hard and further our personal skills; to learn to practice new crafts. Much fun can be had learning to throw an axe! We also fully believe in self-reliance and to use what we learn to help others. If we learn and share then we eliminate the need to rely on others. This creates a huge sense of brotherhood
among us
To be Heathen, for us, is our belief that we are lead in life by everything around us. By following the ways of the ‘Heathen Warrior’ we learn to depend on ourselves. This text is a practical guide and we recommend it as a source for beginners who wish to see how we can relate the modern world to the heathen way of living.

Within The Sacred Hof Of The Gods

We can never agree to things the way that they currently are,
And we will always search for the answers, no matter how far,
For it is better to struggle for that which seems out of reach,
Than to simply accept that which many continuously preach.

We fear not that we might incur the scorn, or wrath of others,
Strong are we standing beside our blood sisters and brothers,
With common cause, and a will, as strong as Thor's right hand,
We will bond together, like a Viking shield wall, to make our stand.

When we walk on the long path to Odin's wisdom, we are never alone,
There is a sixth sense that All- Father watches us from his high throne,
With Sunna blessing us with her radiance, or Freyr with his soaking rains,
We know in our hearts they are with us, can feel them pulsing in our veins.

If it takes us the rest of our lives to finally find that for which we seek,
We will always remain strong despite setbacks that try to make us weak,
And no matter how far, or wide, the search for the truth makes us roam
Within the sacred Hof of the Norse Gods we have found our new home.
